Fall is the most wonderful time to get married as the beauty of the season turns out to be really gorgeous. The color of the season can be seen everywhere be it in the leaves or in the sun setting sky. Thinking of fall wedding decorations, there is ample number of ideas that you can go for. Let's start with the wedding cake. The wedding cake is the most looked after thing in a reception. Since fall is all about bright colored fruits and flowers, you can incorporate this in the wedding cake. Some of the cake decorations that would go well include a white cake which is surrounded by wheat sticks; it looks simple, yet creative. Another idea will be a three tier wedding cake in complete white with fall leaves made all over it. Such a cake not only looks great but would rather taste great too! A wedding cake in three layers where bright colored flower toppers are used can indeed look out of the world. If you want to give a skip to the traditional style of wedding cake then you can have small cup cakes with different topper on each of them.

Now let's pay some attention to the fall wedding centerpieces. Take a huge pumpkin and scoop out its pulp. Make a bouquet of orange, peach, yellow roses and insert them in the pumpkin. It may look quite similar to a Halloween decoration but it will go with the fall theme. You can place two or three small pumpkins by its side and a few candles. Such a piece looks grand even with the most boring backdrop.

Take a round bowl and fill it with water. Now place some floating candles in it and few floral petals. Scatter few fall leaves all round the glass bowl to create a rather violently gorgeous effect.

For the fall wedding decorations, I would personally suggest an outdoor reception during this beautiful time of the year. The beauty of the season really turns out to be quite heavenly and with such beautiful decorations it will look just great.

You could even place a few candles of different heights placed in a glass dish. Each of the candles should be surrounded by flower petals, stems and tied by a ribbon. Sprinkle a few petals in the surrounding too and acute yet majestic centerpiece is ready.

A fall wedding venue decoration can indeed become unique with with the usage of red fall leaves placed at the sides of the pews. Small lights can be placed at the base of each branch. Make sure that these lights are the only source of illumination used in the venue. When lights fall on the red leaves, it would create the much coveted haunting yet gorgeous effect. It is always a wise idea to use wedding favors as wedding decors. Like in small glass jars keep honey and dip caramelized apple sticks in the honey. It will be a delicious treat for the guest and will look good as a centerpiece also.

There are various fall fruits that can also be used to gift guests and also as centerpieces. Keep these fruits in baskets and scatter few petals over it and may be a few leaves. Keep them as centerpieces and as the reception is about to wind up, ask your guests to take each of these as favors.

Other thing that you can use in fall decoration are pine cones, maple leaves, candles, etc. colors that you can use are orange, red golden, yellow, brown, blue, maroon, chocolate brown etc.
